TEACH CULINARY
Development of New Culinary Education Programs

The RAMW-EF provides its partners with everything needed to develop and implement a culinary arts program, including:
  • developing and implementing culinary arts programs
  • drafting curriculum
  • organizing workshops/teacher training
  • Organizing field trips and lectures from area chefs and other guest speakers in the restaurant and hospitality industries,
  • Organizing internships, job shadowing and mentor opportunities with local businesses,
  • Facilitating participation in local, regional, and national ProStart and SkillsUSA culinary competitions,
  • recruiting faculty
  • scheduling guest speakers
  • designing teaching kitchens
  • facilitating and negotiating discounted acquisition of restaurant equipment and food
  • Consultation on high school culinary facility renovations and upgrades,
  • Providing ServSafe (Safe Food Handling) materials, ordering teaching materials and instruction.
  • Providing schools with partial financial aid, as needed for culinary-related materials such as competition uniforms,
  • Advising schools of industry trends and developments,
  • Providing information on student scholarships for post-secondary education,
  • organizing college fairs
